Accountant

Yannix Co. Ltd. is a global leader in providing visual effects (VFX) preparation & support services to film, TV, and advertising industries. We service clients from all over the world such as USA, Canada, UK, New Zealand, and Australia. Given our rapid growth, we are looking for accounting staff to assist or to share responsibilities with our senior accountant. This position is open to new graduates who are smart and eager to learn. We will provide the required training. This position is also open to those with work experience, even up to a senior-level. Your compensation will depend on your work experience.

Job Descriptions

  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable activities done by accounts assistants
  • Prepare and review monthly sales, purchases, VAT, withholding taxes, and tax filing with the Revenue Department.
  • Post bookkeeping journals such as purchase, sales, payments, receipts, and general journals.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closings related to accounting books and ledgers.
  • Perform analytics based on accounting data such as cash flow forecast, revenue prediction etc.
  • Other accounting tasks as required by the Supervisor.

Key Competencies / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, internet and email use.
  • Some experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
  • Willing to improve process or policy. Initiate change that make the company work better.
  • New graduates are welcome.
 

Job Descriptions

  • Handle billing activities such as accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure billing is done in a timely manner and collections are received promptly.
  • Prepare, maintain and summarize accounts receivable files and records.
  • Handle collection activities such as sending collection email/letter, statement of account summaries, etc. based on provided templates.
  • Resolve collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history etc.
  • Perform process improvement tasks and other related tasks projects as assigned.
 

Key Competencies / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or in any field as long as can demonstrate interest in this work.
  • Those with 2-3 years experience in administrative work will be given higher consideration.
  • Understanding billing, payments, and collection systems.
  • Basic knowledge of withholding tax and VAT.\
  • Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, internet, and email use.
  • A drive to learn and work hard with an attention to detail.
  • Good enough command of English to understand client emails and collection meetings conducted in English.
