Yannix has procured 1,100 doses of the Sinopharm BBIBP-CorV COVID-19 vaccine as part of a distribution program established by the Chulabhorn Royal Academy (CRA), which is providing the vaccine to organizations at cost.

The purpose of the program is to help relieve the Thai government’s distribution burden in terms of budget and workload. The goal is to expedite the process of getting the Thai people vaccinated.

The CRA is making the vaccines available under the condition that the bulk of those doses must be earmarked for our employees (and their families).

An additional component of the deal is that Yannix must also donate a percentage of the doses purchased.

As such, Yannix is donating 100 doses that the CRA will give to the government. The government will then distribute those 100 doses to members of the community who are less-fortunate so that they can be vaccinated free of charge.

Yannix has already begun the process of administering its 1000 dose allotment to its staff and their families, who received initial jabs on July 26, 28 & 30.

According to Yannix’ Chief Executive Manager, Ms. Wirak “Noina” Winsuth:

“Yannix is grateful for the efforts of the Chulabhorn Royal Academy, and for the opportunity to get our employees and their loved ones vaccinated sooner rather than later.”

Yannix staff and their families are slated to receive their second jabs later this month (August 16, 18 & 20).
