NAKHONPATHOM PROVINCE, Thailand, 30 June 2018

In March, Yannix staff visited Ban Ko Wang School to lend a helping hand. On that day, Yannix volunteers were greeted by an excited group of thirty-two students, and their teacher, Ms. Paradee Toonyodpan, who also serves as the school’s Director/Administrator.

The volunteers helped to build bookshelves in the library, re-paint desks and chairs, and renovate the playground.

The volunteers also replaced the football (soccer) goal nets and played with the children.

On 30 June, the “sequel” happened as Yannix volunteers, at the invitation of Ms. Toonyodpan returned to the Ban Ko Wang School for “Kids Sports Day/Mini World Cup” as part of Yannix’ Give It 2 Get It Program.

This time members of the Yannix Football (Soccer) Club joined with other employee volunteers to visit the school for fun and games.

Spotlight on Yannix Club – Yannix Football (Soccer) Club: The football club has 8 members and the members get together every Wednesday evening after work to play football together at a local Futsal Park (Rama2).

The club members are excited about World Cup 2018, and they plan to watch the Final Match together on 15 July, although they are still undecided on where to go to watch the match.

The volunteers prepared trophies and medals they distributed on the day, and hosted a charity luncheon for the students in attendance.

Everyone had a great time during “Kids Sports Day/Mini World Cup” at Ban Ko Wang School. The kids team won the “Mini World Cup” 8-4.

Thank you to Ms. Toonyodpan and her students, and everyone who helped make this event a big success.
