BANGKOK, Thailand, 17 November 2020
While a second wave of COVID-19 appears to be spreading in many regions of the globe, Thailand continues to maintain its status as a “low-risk” nation as the Kingdom currently ranks 151st in the World.
In contrast, the United States still ranks #1 in the world with the highest number of COVID-19 cases (11.37 million). India ranks #2 (8.84 million), Brasil is #3 (5.86 million), France ranks #4 (1.98 million) and Russia ranks #5 (1.9 million).
Globally, the number of confirmed cases is 54.8 million. The total number of confirmed Coronavirus deaths worldwide is 1.32 million.
According to Thailand’s Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration there have been a total of 3,875 Coronavirus cases in the Kingdom, to date, and the number of COVID-19 deaths in Thailand still holds at 60.
